Kabru was saved of the streets of Nepal where she had little chance on
surviving
and zero chance of knowing love and a family.  Some local good samaritans took her in and cared for  her until she could hop a plane to the U.S.  Kabru is a sweet and shy girl that will grow to a very large dog. We do not know her exact breed mix but we were told by the vet in Nepal that she was a mastiff mix and our vet in Illinois thinks she looks like a Lab mix.  She is all black with a tiny bit of white on one toe. She is 5 months old and 30 pounds.

She is UTD on her vaccinations, is microchipped, dewormed, has been given flea and tick prevention and has been spayed.

She is currently being fostered in Naperville, IL and would love to find her furever home! We will do our best to respond to any and all requests and contacts as soon as possible, but we are a 100% volunteer run rescue. It is great because that means we can keep our adoption prices low because we are not paying salaries, but all of our volunteers do have families and "real" jobs in order to support our passion of saving animals from euthanasia often just days or hours before they are scheduled to be put to sleep. That being said, one of us are going to do our best to contact via email or by phone within 24 hours of any inquiry. It is not uncommon that when you have made the decision to add to your family and committing to adopting a rescue dog that you are very excited, we just ask that you be patient with us.
